A high-level delegation from the Joint Chamber of Commerce of Afghanistan and Iran has arrived in Kabul with the goal of bolstering bilateral economic and commercial cooperation. The visit is centered around the “Afghanistan Industry Week” exhibition, where the delegation will take part in strategic business forums and high-level trade negotiations.
In an official statement, the Joint Chamber confirmed that the delegation’s agenda extends beyond exhibition participation to include scheduled talks with senior officials of the Islamic Emirate, prominent Afghan business leaders, and key private-sector stakeholders.
The discussions are expected to prioritize pathways for expanding joint commercial ventures, unlocking fresh investment opportunities, and significantly boosting overall bilateral trade volume.
This mission comes against a backdrop of steadily growing economic engagement between the two neighbors, marked by deepening private-sector ties and a notable uptick in trade flows over the past several years.
