The World Health Organization (WHO) has recorded 51 attacks on health facilities in Afghanistan since the beginning of 2019.
These attacks happened in different districts and capitals of 16 provinces in Afghanistan, WHO said on its social media account.
The attacks hampered the delivery of health services at 114 facilities. Three health centers were destroyed, eight suffered losses and 99 closed.
Over a hundred health officials were killed, 10 injured and seven detained and remained in the captivity of armed militants.
