Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met with the heads of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chambers of Commerce and their accompanying delegation.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on expanding trade and economic cooperation, holding industrial and agricultural exhibitions, increasing bilateral trade, and signing implementation agreements.
The head of the Iran-Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce also highlighted the provision of nationwide security in Afghanistan and announced the interest of major Iranian companies in investing in various sectors of the country.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed expanding economic and trade relations and strengthening joint cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran.
