The Balkh Public Health Directorate reports that Abu Ali Sina Regional Hospital performed approximately 35,270 successful surgeries during the year 1404.
Kamaluddin Zadran, spokesman for the Balkh Public Health Directorate, told Bakhtar News Agency that alongside the surgeries, the hospital provided outpatient services to 432,552 patients and treated 84,806 patients in inpatient wards.
He also noted that the hospital delivered additional medical services including blood transfusions, X-ray and ultrasound examinations, as well as laboratory testing to thousands of patients.
