In the past 11 months, over 200,000 domestic and international tourists have flocked to the attractions of Kapisa province.
Nusratullah Nusrat Sanjani, Head of Culture and Heritage at the Kapisa Department of Information and Culture, informed the Bakhtar News Agency that the province boasts more than 30 tourist and historical sites, which have garnered significant interest from visitors in recent years.
Among Kapisa’s key attractions are Rigrawan Mountain, Sayad National Park, Najrab Waterfalls, Koh Bandha, and Galghandi Mountain, as well as historic fortresses and towers, all of which welcome thousands of tourists annually.
Sanjani credited the increase in tourist numbers to improved security, enhanced promotions of natural attractions, and a heightened focus on the province’s tourism sector.
With its stunning natural landscapes, lush mountains, and breathtaking waterfalls, Kapisa stands out as one of the country’s premier tourism destinations. Sanjani further noted that the number of visitors is anticipated to grow even more in the coming years as additional facilities are developed.
