Afghanistan and Dagestan’s businessmen recently formalized five cooperation agreements focused on transport and food sectors.
The agreements emerged from a business networking forum hosted by the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, which facilitated direct meetings between Afghanistan’s entrepreneurs and a business delegation from Dagestan, Russia.
During the discussions, the two sides emphasized the importance of expanding economic cooperation, enhancing bilateral trade, and exploring new investment opportunities. The signed agreements, valued at over $1.5 million, are expected to significantly boost exports and imports, create jobs, and strengthen Afghanistan’s trade relations with regional markets, particularly with the Russian Federation.
Officials from the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment highlighted the pivotal role of such meetings in connecting Afghan businessmen to international markets, paving the way for sustainable economic development.
