From the beginning to the end of the month of Qaws of the year 1404 (Solar Hijri), a total of 684,102 metric tons of goods were transported through the railway lines of the Ministry of Public Works of Afghanistan.
The Press Office of the Ministry of Public Works announced today that during this period, 489,642 tons were transported via Hairatan Port, 50,752 tons via Aqina Port, 74,874 tons via Torghundi Port, and via the Khaf–Herat route. In total, 684,102 metric tons of goods—comprising petroleum products, non-petroleum goods, and other materials were imported to and exported from the country.
Overall, part of these transfers consisted of exports. During the month of Qaws, 1,581 tons of commercial goods were exported, the majority of which included dried fruits, mineral stones, and pomegranate juice.
