Dr. Nanda Owalist, the ambassador of Indonesia, recently visited Ghazni, where he toured the province’s museum and historical sites.
Accompanied by Mullah Hamidullah Nisar, the Director of Information and Culture of Ghazni, Dr. Owalist explored the museum exhibition, the Al-Biruni Public Library, and several key historical landmarks.
The ambassador emphasized that his visit aims to enhance cultural relations between Afghanistan and Indonesia. He expressed his commitment to strengthening both cultural and economic ties between Indonesia and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
Mullah Hamidullah Nisar highlighted that the Ghazni Museum houses hundreds of historical artifacts from both the Islamic period and the pre-Islamic era, which are essential for presenting Afghanistan’s historical identity.
He noted that visits like this are vital for fostering cultural collaboration between the Islamic Emirate and the Government of Indonesia, as well as for preserving their shared cultural and historical heritage.
