In a meeting with the leadership of the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Production, Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi announced efforts to simplify the country’s export process.
The Ministry’s press office reported that Minister Azizi met with Khan Mohammad Farutan, the Head of the Chamber, and a group of exporters specializing in fresh fruits and vegetables. The discussion focused on enhancing the management of issuing certificates of origin and registering invoices through export centers, aiming to establish a transparent and efficient mechanism for these processes.
Minister Azizi emphasized the importance of ensuring that farmers and traders are not adversely affected by these changes. He reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to facilitating the export process and simplifying related procedures.
The meeting concluded with a decision to implement a clear and transparent mechanism for issuing certificates of origin and registering invoices. The Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Production will cooperate with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to enhance decision-making in this sector.
