Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, held a meeting with a number of scholars and tribal elders of Surkhrod district in Nangarhar, said that the relevant ministries are working on the reconstruction of migrant townships.
The press office of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation published this news today, stating that the elders and scholars shared information with the Minister regarding the living conditions and access of former returnees who reside in Sheikh Misri Township of Surkhrod district.
While presenting their suggestions about Sheikh Misri Township, they said that the townships allocated for migrants are in need of public services. They expressed hope that the Islamic Emirate would consider public projects for the returnees.
Mawlavi Abdul Kabir said that, in order to provide better services to returnees, the Islamic Emirate has assigned responsibilities to a number of departments, and each department is carrying out its duties according to the needs.
He added that the relevant ministries are working on the reconstruction of migrant townships, emphasizing that returnee citizens will have access to the necessary services.
Mawlavi Abdul Kabir assured the elders and scholars present that he would share their suggestions with the relevant departments.
