Over 23,000 residents of Baghlan Province are currently employed in the province’s state-run factories and companies.
Qari Nusratullah Parsa, the Director of Labor and Social Affairs of Baghlan, told a BNA reporter that thousands of local residents have been provided with employment opportunities across various factories and government companies.
He added that a total of 23,181 individuals are actively working in Baghlan Textile Factory, the Ghori Cement Production Plant, sugar production factories, power supply companies, and coal mining enterprises.
Parsa further noted that if the province’s silos (government grain storage warehouses) and other production sectors become operational, employment opportunities would be created for hundreds more local residents.
