The union has announced plans to invest millions of dollars in the creation of pistachio orchards and forests in the western and northwestern provinces of Afghanistan.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture, this initiative aims not only to revive pistachio production but also to enhance the country’s agricultural landscape.
In addition to the pistachio projects, the union intends to invest in Afghanistan’s chicken egg sector, further diversifying its agricultural investments.
During the meeting, union representatives sought the ministry’s assistance in securing land leases and fostering cooperation to facilitate the launch of these agricultural projects.
Mawlavi Ataullah Omari expressed strong support for the initiatives, assuring the industrialists that the ministry would provide the necessary resources and support to ensure the implementation of their plans.
