Afghanistan Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA) and the RRDPO Organization have entered into a cooperation agreement to distribute food packages to 2,450 needy families in Nangarhar province.
The agreement was formalized during a meeting between Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, the head of the ANDMA, and Rahimullah Abid, project manager of RRDPO. Each family will receive a comprehensive food package containing 100 kg of flour, 12.5 kg of split chickpeas, 9kg of oil, and 1 kg of salt, ensuring that they have access to basic nutritional needs.
RRDPO will oversee the technical, administrative, and survey components of the project, which has a budget allocation of $30,513 specifically designated for emergency aid distribution. Mullah Turabi emphasized the importance of collaboration with aid organizations, noting that such programs are vital in providing support to families in need and those affected by crises.
