IEA held its 15th cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, to deliberate on pressing economic, social, and cultural matters.
According to the General Directorate of Affairs, the cabinet reviewed and made decisions on a range of national issues. Some matters were referred to designated committees for further evaluation, with reports expected in the next session.
Additionally, a delegation was assigned to address challenges faced by traders in Nangarhar’s industrial and commercial sectors. The team is tasked with facilitating solutions, improving conditions, and ensuring broader cooperation with the business community.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister for Administration, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, has been directed to engage with senior officials from the Ministries of Defense and Interior, as well as the Intelligence Directorate, to address the concerns of security personnel stationed in remote regions.
