Today, November 6, the inauguration ceremony of the elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is held in a new building of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis. The head of the Central Election Commission, Zainiddin Nizomkhojaev, spoke first and introduced the electoral process and election results. At a joint session of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of Parliament, President-elect Shavkat Mirziyoyev took the oath of allegiance to the people of Uzbekistan.
The ceremony took place in the large session hall of the new Senate building. The president was given his own badge and the standard (flag) of the president of the country.
