Afghan Air Force Member Killed in Gunmen Attack in Kabul

An Afghan Air Force member, Sefatullah Faqir, was killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen in Paghman district, Kabul province, on Saturday night, a source said. 

The incident happened in Bagh-e-Daud area in Paghman district when gunmen attacked the Air Force member’s vehicle, a source said.

Police said a probe has started into the incident.

No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.

On Saturday also, Jawid Malikzai, an employee of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) was killed by unidentified gunmen in Qala-e-Ghaibi in Kabul’s district 7.

The incident took place when he was on his way to office, according to his relatives.
