Acting Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar will be heading a powerful delegation to Iran on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said Saturday.

Representatives of seven ministries, five independent departments, legal advisory board from Presidential Palace and office of the National Security Council are part of the delegation, the statement said.

The visit, aimed at addressing recent adverse events, search ways to stop a repeat of such incidents, strengthen and expand co-operation, and facilitate comprehensive negotiations between the two countries

A video clip recently circulated in social media shows a vehicle that belonged to an Afghan migrant is burning and one injured Afghan man is asking Iranian security personnel for water but nobody paid heed.

According to reports, 15 days earlier, a vehicle carrying 13 Afghans caught fire in the Yazd province of Iran, in which three persons were killed and five others injured and some people went missing.
