The Ministry of Public Works has announced that, from 9 to 15 Aqrab 1404, a total of 135,487 metric tons of goods were transported via railways across various routes.
Key highlights include: Hairatan Port, 97,396 tons, Aqeena Port, 8,057 tons, Turghundi Port, 18,823 tons, Khaf–Herat, 11,211 tons.
The shipments comprised a mix of petroleum products, non-petroleum goods, and other materials. Notably, this period also witness the export of 269 tons of commercial goods, primarily pomegranate juice.
The logistics effort underscores the vital role of railways in facilitating trade and supporting economic activities.
