A plane carrying the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov, landed today (Saturday) at Kabul airport.
This is the first visit of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan to Kabul after the Islamic Emirate’s takeover in 2021.
Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Abdulsalam Hanafi and Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi welcomed the visiting PM at the airport.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said in a statement that Aripov’s visit aims to participate in a business forum between the two countries and to open an expo of Uzbek products.
