Mojeeb ur-Rahman Omar Akhundzada, the Deputy Minister of Water at the Ministry of Water and Energy, recently met with several Turkish investors, including the head of Ofi Bahram Company, in the ministry’s conference hall.
The discussions focused on investment opportunities and cooperation on water infrastructure projects in Afghanistan. Akhundzada highlighted potential projects for Turkish investment, including the Kabul-Panjshir water transmission initiative and the construction of the Shah Toot Lalandar Dam, among other significant ventures.
The Turkish investors expressed their readiness to invest and actively participate in these water projects, committing to take further practical steps towards implementation.
