A 26-year-long enmity between the families of Sayed Mohammad and Abdullah in the village of Gordesh, Kamdesh district, Nuristan province, was transformed into friendship today through the mediation of tribal elders and government officials.
The two families, whose conflict had caused both human and financial losses, expressed gratitude to the tribal elders and officials who played a role in resolving the enmity. They reconciled and pledged to live together in brotherhood and peace from now on.
Both families forgave each other wholeheartedly and committed to continuing their lives in an atmosphere of fraternity and harmony.
They also praised the efforts of the Islamic Emirate in resolving internal disputes and making impartial decisions, noting that these efforts have not only ended similar conflicts in Nuristan but also in other provinces.
