Three girls’ schools in Faryab province have officially reopened following significant renovation efforts. The schools, located in Andkhoy, Khancharbagh, and Qarghan districts, were modernized to enhance the educational environment for students.
The renovated institutions include Kalal Khana Girls High School in Andkhoy, Arabshah Girls High School in Khancharbagh, and Namazgah Girls High School in Qarghan. The total renovation cost was about $24,663, funded by the European Union in collaboration with Jack’s Office and local Makaram Support Councils.
Officials highlighted that these renovations not only improve infrastructure but also symbolize effective cooperation between local communities, the government, and international organizations. “This is a step towards building a sustainable society,” they stated.
The Faryab Education Department emphasized the importance of local councils and partner institutions in executing educational projects. They are committed to advancing educational infrastructure across all districts, particularly in remote areas where access to quality education remains a pressing challenge.
