Three-Day Exhibition Promotes Kabul’s ‘New Image’

A three-day exhibition themed “The New Image of Kabul” was organized by the Kabul Municipality at Zarnegar Park.

The organizers stated that the aim of the photography exhibition is to showcase the achievements and work of the Kabul Municipality.

Mohammad Khalid Sajistani, Deputy for Urban Services at Kabul Municipality, said, “Kabul Municipality, as a service-oriented administration, has managed to gain significant satisfaction from the residents of Kabul city.”

“Kabul Municipality is providing its services, and certainly over the past three years, they have delivered more services. All Kabul residents are satisfied, and this is the responsibility of Kabul Municipality and the Islamic Emirate,” said, Abdul Baqi Haqqani, head of the National Examination Authority.

Meanwhile, the acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, present at the event, stated that Afghanistan currently has a unified government and that the development and construction of roads is the responsibility of every citizen.

Khalil Rahman Haqqani, acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, added, “They have taken steps and made efforts for development, and you yourselves are witnesses to this, from Herat to Kabul, and from the north to the south.”

“Kabul is the capital of the country. People from all over the world come here. This is where embassies are located, foreigners come here, and Afghans who live abroad also visit. News from here spreads very quickly internationally,” Farooq Azam, Senior Advisor to the Ministry of Energy and Water.

In another part of the event, the acting Minister of Economy welcomed the holding of such exhibitions and requested the Traffic Police Department to cooperate with Kabul Municipality.

“The Traffic Department should coordinate with Kabul Municipality. Just as new squares have been created in Kabul, traffic signals should also be installed,” said Din Mohammad Hanif, acting Minister of Economy.

Kabul Municipality officials pledged further initiatives aimed at providing more facilities in various areas under Kabul Municipality. According to the officials, this exhibition will be open to visitors for three days.
