Afghanistan has faced numerous challenges due to prolonged wars, political instability, and economic problems. In this context, Afghan youth have been the most affected. Due to despair, poverty, and unemployment, many young people have lost faith in a bright future in their country. This issue not only harms the future of the youth but also poses a threat to the development and stability of the country.

First, due to prolonged wars and political instability, Afghanistan has not progressed in many areas. These wars have caused not only physical damage but have also harmed the spirit and psyche of the Afghans. Second, economic problems and unemployment have significantly increased in the country. Many young people cannot find jobs and cannot meet their basic needs. Third, the education system has deteriorated over the past few years. Schools and universities do not operate regularly, and adequate attention is not given to education. Fourth, the level of corruption has increased over the past several years, which, instead of encouraging and giving hope to the youth, increases their despair.

Several factors have contributed to the low participation of youth in the recent Kankor exam. First, the weakness of the education system and the closure of some educational institutions have hampered the educational process of the youth. Second, due to economic problems, young people are forced to work to meet their daily needs instead of continuing their education. Third, due to despair and lack of confidence, young people are reluctant to participate in the Kankor exam because they do not believe that it will lead to a better future.

For many young people, the lack of confidence and despair about a bright future in their country has led them to seek opportunities abroad. They believe that they will have access to better education, jobs, and living conditions in foreign countries. This situation not only separates the youth from their families but also deprives the country of their talents.

The Afghan caretaker government must take serious measures to prevent the despair of the youth. First, efforts should be made to reform the education system. Schools and universities must operate regularly, and adequate attention should be given to education. Second, projects should be initiated for economic development to provide job opportunities for the youth. Third, serious steps should be taken to prevent corruption. Fourth, the government should develop special programs to encourage the youth and give them hope for a better future.

Afghan youth are the future of the country. If the government does not pay serious attention to the despair and problems of the youth, not only will the youth suffer, but the development and stability of the country will also be at risk. For the better future of the youth, the government must take serious and effective steps to ensure that the youth stay in their country, contribute to the country’s development, and provide better living conditions for their families. Ultimately, it is the government’s responsibility to save the youth from despair and ensure a bright future for them.
