Since the geopolitical creation of Pakistan in 1947, one fundamental principle of its political and intelligence strategy has remained unchanged: a strong, stable, united, and sovereign Afghanistan is unacceptable to Islamabad’s long-term regional calculations. History has repeatedly demonstrated that whenever Afghanistan has moved toward independence, progress, political strength, and institutional stability, Pakistan has responded with terrorism, proxy warfare, economic pressure, border manipulation, and media propaganda to derail this trajectory.
Today, the issue is no longer limited to Pakistan’s direct hostility. This campaign now operates in dual form: first through Pakistan’s media outlets, analysts, and intelligence-linked narratives, and second through certain so-called “Afghan” media platforms abroad that echo Pakistan’s agenda against Afghanistan. It must be stated clearly—there are not only Pakistani media networks working against the Afghan state, but also Afghan-name platforms in Europe, America, Iran, the UAE, and elsewhere that actively promote narratives benefiting Pakistan while undermining Afghan national dignity and cohesion.
These individuals and outlets, though identifying themselves as Afghan, openly oppose Afghan unity, Afghan sovereignty, national security, and economic stability, while publicly defending Pakistan’s political and strategic interests. They must no longer be tolerated as neutral commentators. Their role in spreading ethnic polarization, linguistic division, sectarian distrust, and state delegitimization is just as dangerous as Pakistan’s official apparatus, which has orchestrated decades of destabilization inside Afghanistan.
History has offered one clear verdict: whenever Afghan society stood united and turned toward national development and independent governance, Pakistan countered through proxy militias, exported radical networks, refugee pressure tactics, transit blockades, and coordinated media smears to fracture Afghan identity, economy, and political continuity. If Afghans do not respond firmly today, the cycle of sacrifice and national sabotage will once again be repeated.
It is now a national responsibility that the Afghan people evaluate political statements, media narratives, and social commentaries not through emotion but through strategic awareness. Those who deliberately target Afghanistan’s national security, economic integrity, governance continuity, and cultural identity must face the rightful judgment of the Afghan nation. The time has come to expose those who disguise foreign agendas in the language of “analysis,” “objectivity,” and “human rights commentary,” while in reality injecting Pakistan’s long-standing agenda into Afghan discourse.
Afghanistan is not a state defined by external doctrine. The country possesses its own sovereign path, economic potential, international responsibilities, and cultural inheritance. Those who today speak in favor of Pakistan’s policies, while masking themselves as Afghan activists, broadcasters, or political commentators, are in essence acting against Afghan survival and national dignity.
Afghans must now remain vigilant. This is the decisive moment in which the nation must stand united, firm, and self-protective. Whether foreign-flagged or Afghan-named, no platform can be allowed to dictate Afghanistan’s destiny on behalf of outside powers.
This land, this people, and this sovereignty are no longer available for foreign manipulation. Time has arrived for Afghans to construct an unbreakable front in defense of national honor, internal stability, and sovereign independence.
