The spokesman of the (IEA) has announced that talks with the Pakistani authorities are ongoing in order to reopen the Torkham crossing for trade.
Zabihullah Mujahid told Turkey’s Anadolu news agency that the details of the talks between Islamabad and Kabul for the reopening of the Torkham crossing will be released soon.
Around a week ago, Pakistan stopped allowing trucks to pass through the Torkham crossing due to visa issues.
The closure of the crossing has caused protests by traders.
