Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Acting Minister of Interior, met with Zhao Xing, the Chinese Ambassador to Kabul, to discuss the strategic importance of the Wakhan Corridor, the expansion of trade relations, and the increase in passenger flights between the two countries.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, both sides emphasized strengthening bilateral cooperation and taking practical steps to enhance their relations. Special attention was given to the Wakhan Corridor as a strategic trade route and the improvement of connectivity between Afghanistan and China.
This meeting aimed to reinforce ties between Kabul and Beijing and explore mutual opportunities for advancing economic and political collaboration.
