The Acting Minister of Public Health, Mawlavi Noor Jalal Jalali, visited Al-Shifa Hospital alongside the Chinese Ambassador to Kabul, Mr. Zhao Xing.
The visit focused on the ongoing renovation works at the hospital, which is recognized as one of the most crucial healthcare facilities in the country.
During the visit, Minister Jalali emphasized the importance of the reforms taking place at Al-Shifa Hospital, highlighting its role in providing specialized and tertiary medical services to the Afghan population.
Ambassador Zhao Xing expressed China’s commitment to supporting Afghanistan’s reconstruction efforts, particularly in healthcare. He assured that China would continue to provide assistance in the areas of equipment, reconstruction, and expansion of Al-Shifa Hospital, reinforcing the partnership between the two nations.
