A group of armed men belonging to an influential figure clashed with the police forces in Kabul city yesterday afternoon, the security officials said.
The incident took place in the vicinity of Shahr-e-Naw area of Kabul city amid reports a number of people, including policemen were wounded during the exchange of fire.
Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish confirmed the incident and said at least six policemen have sustained injuries during the clash.
According to reports, the clash between the policemen and influential armed men has taken place due to the evacuation of a house which was ordered by a court.
