1,734 Afghan migrants returned to their homeland from Pakistan through the Spin Boldak district of Kandahar. The return took place on Wednesday marking a hopeful step for many who had sought refuge abroad.
The head of the Registration and Verification Committee for Migrants at the Anzargi camp in Takhtapul district reported that the returning migrants received cash assistance from relevant government institutions to help them reintegrate into their communities. Additionally, they have been referred to various aid organizations for further support and resources.
The repatriation initiative underscores ongoing efforts to assist Afghan nationals in returning home and rebuilding their lives after years of displacement.
