1,108 Afghan Migrant Families Return from Iran and Pakistan to country.
The High Commission for Addressing Migrants’ Issues has told Bakhtar News Agency that 1,108 Afghan migrant families, totaling 6,468 individuals, who were forcibly returned, have come back to the country via Islam Qala in Herat, Abrisham in Nimroz, Spin Boldak in Kandahar, Torkham in Nangarhar, and Bahramcha in Helmand, from Iran and Pakistan.
According to the commission, necessary services were provided to these returnees by its committees. After registration and biometric fingerprinting, cash and SIM cards were distributed, and arrangements were made for their transportation to their respective provinces.
