The Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mullah Hedayatullah Badri, held discussions with Almazbek Tumanov, former Deputy Minister of Mines of Kyrgyzstan, and Azar Shukurov, former Deputy Minister of Mines of Azerbaijan.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, the former officials highlighted Afghanistan’s potential as an investment destination, particularly in the oil and gas sectors. They expressed their interest in collaboration and pledged to support the ministry in establishing a standardized laboratory to enhance mining sector operations.
Minister Badri reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to attracting foreign investors and improving investment conditions. He assured that Afghanistan would facilitate cooperation in line with its mining laws, ensuring a favorable environment for international business partnerships.
