Mawlavi Ghausuddin, the Governor of Farah, conducted a site visit to oversee the construction of 108 houses designated for returnee families in the Migrants Township. Accompanied by construction officials and an engineering team, the governor emphasized the importance of adhering to the project timeline.
During the visit, Rahmatullah Ghorzang, head of the governor’s office, reported to the Bakhtar News Agency that Ghausuddin closely monitored the progress of the construction, providing valuable recommendations to the technical managers and the engineering staff. He highlighted that approximately 80% of the construction work has been completed, assuring that the houses will be ready for occupancy soon.
Mawlavi Nasrullah Esteqlal, head of Farah’s Urban Development and Housing Department, shared that the project, valued at 38 million Afghanis, is being executed by the Al-Gharafa Foundation. He confirmed that the construction aligns with the guidelines set forth by the Urban Development and Housing Department.
Esteqlal reiterated the commitment to delivering high-quality housing to those in need, stating, “We are dedicated to ensuring these homes are allocated to returnees promptly.” He also urged company officials to adhere to the ministry’s principles, noting that a technical team is monitoring the project daily.
