The Kandahar Municipality has announced the start of construction work on an 8-kilometer road in Spin Boldak District, at a cost of one billion Afghanis.
According to Engineer Hayatullah, a municipal official, the road will stretch from Haji Magash Fort to the zero point of the Durand Line.
The project, funded by the Ministry of Public Works, will include two main and two service lanes, as well as drainage channels, planters, and other public works features. It is expected to be completed within one year.
