Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan Sign Protocol on Junction of Borderline

The governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan signed a protocol on the location of the point of junction of the state borders during talks in Ferghana, the Kyrgyz government’s press service reported.

“During talks the sides exchanged suggestions on location of the point of junction of state borders of 3 countries. The respective protocol was signed then,” said the reported.

The next meeting of the governmental delegations will be held in Kyrgyzstan.

Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and State National Security Committee Chairman Kamchibek Tashiev discussed delimitation of remaining border sections in March 2021.

During the state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Uzbekistan, the two leaders reached agreement on intensification of work of governmental delegations.
