Kazakhstan has expressed its readiness to cooperate in the construction of a railway line between the land ports of Torghandi in Herat and Spinboldak in Kandahar.
On Tuesday the government of Kazakhstan stated its Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin has said the country is ready to provide the necessary equipment and tools for the construction of the railway line.
In addition, he said Kazakhstan is willing to cooperate with Mammetkhan Chakiyev, the General Director of Turkmenistan’s Transport and Communications Agency to build an international north-south highway.
