In line with a recently-finalised extradition treaty, Afghanistan will hand over suspected Pakistani terrorists to India, a media report said on Monday.
Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Vinay Kumar and Foreign Minister Idrees Zaman signed the treaty in Kabul on Sunday, The Economic Times said.
The treaty, whose salient features are yet to be fully revealed, was initially inked in 2016 when President Ashraf Ghani visited India.
The landmark agreement is seen as a body blow to the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Jaish-i-Mohammad (JeM) militants, who are said to be hiding in Afghanistan.
