The Kunduz Department of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock has announced the creation of job opportunities for more than 1,400 individuals in several districts of the province.
This initiative, supported financially by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, aims to assist poor families while enhancing water resource management.
Salahuddin Wahidi, head of agricultural affairs at the Kunduz Department, revealed that the program is being implemented in the districts of Aliabad, Khanabad, Kalbad, and Dasht-e-Archi.
Wahidi stated that a total of $298,000 will be allocated as wages for 1,490 workers, with each participating family set to receive $200. This financial support is expected to uplift the local economy and provide much-needed assistance to vulnerable communities.
