Indian government officials at a ceremony on Tuesday in Kabul donated two Mi-35 helicopters to Afghan forces, the Ministry of Defense confirmed.
A ceremony was held at the military airport in Kabul attended by the Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan, Vinay Kumar, and acting Defense Minister Asadullah Khalid, according to officials at the MoD.
This completes the four-helicopter pledge made by the Indian government, who provided the first two Mi-35 helicopters in July.
India is upgrading to US-made Apache helicopters.
