Inauguration of The “Da Ghutai Dars” Program in Kabul

The “Ghutai Dars”or lesson online program, aimed at delivering scientific and academic topics to Afghan youth and children through platforms like CGTN Pashto in collaboration with STR Television, Watan Television, and several other media outlets, was officially inaugurated in Kabul. The event was attended by numerous young people, tribal elders, and children.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Safiullah Nasary stated that the program would be regularly broadcast to enhance the knowledge levels of Afghan children and youth. Additionally, science and education campaigns would be conducted in the first half of this year by Aksos Bookstore and several schools and another academic institutions.

Nasary emphasized that China is not only an economic power but also a culturally rich and ancient nation, which is not widely understood. Programs like these can help foster greater awareness. He also noted that this year coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Afghanistan, making this initiative a symbol of mutual cooperation and friendship.

Another participant in the event, Ghazi Mohammad Manandoy described the launch of “Ghutai Dars” as a positive step. He highlighted the importance of such educational programs in familiarizing Afghan youth and children with technology. Manandoy praised the fact that the lessons are presented in Pashto, meeting a vital current need.

Children attending the event expressed their excitement about regularly following “Ghutai Dars” on television. They urged the China Media Group to focus even more on producing various scientific programs for their benefit.

It is worth noting that Ghutai, a journalist from the Pashto section of China Media Group, has produced several programs for Afghans over the past few years, which have been warmly received by the audience.
