A new public library named Parmakhtag Aama Kitabtoon has been officially inaugurated in Wardak province through a special ceremony attended by government officials, local authorities, teachers, students, and community elders.

The library building, located in Sheikh Yaseen village of Chak district, was established through the initiative of Nang Attal, the founder of the Hode Educational and Social Services Organization.
Built to modern and professional standards, the library is designed to house a collection of 12,000 book titles and provides a comfortable reading space for up to 100 individuals at a time. It will serve as a valuable educational resource where people of all backgrounds can freely access books and engage in study and research.
The founder, Nang Attal, is a Ph.D. candidate in International Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Originally from this rural village, he describes the library as a gift to the community that supported his journey from a remote part of Afghanistan to higher education abroad.
