Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, inaugurated the second phase of the Kabul Steel Iron Mill Factory.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund inaugurated the second phase of the factory during his visit to Herat Province, where the factory is located in the Herat Industrial Park.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mullah Baradar said that with the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, regional countries and many others around the world have taken practical steps to expand economic relations with Afghanistan, and these efforts continue to grow.
He added that the Islamic Emirate gives special attention to the development of the industrial sector and, for this purpose, has launched major projects for domestic and imported electricity production.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs called on all investors to invest in Afghanistan and emphasized that the Islamic Emirate guarantees full cooperation in this regard.
In the second phase of the Kabul Steel Iron Melting Factory, 20 million USD has been invested, and this phase has the capacity to process 500 tons of iron per day.
