Deputy of Railways at the Ministry of Public Works, led a delegation to Balkh province to expedite unloading and loading processes. During his visit to the Hairatan port, he held discussions with representatives of Sogdiana Trans, the Uzbekistan-based company managing railway operations at the port.
The meeting focused on addressing wagon congestion, maintaining active railway lines, maximizing station capacities, and enhancing unloading and loading speed. Necessary decisions were made to address these challenges effectively.
As part of the visit, the deputy and his team inspected the railway tracks, stations, and facilities at Hairatan port to assess operational efficiency.
Worth mentioning that, Sogdiana Trans has been managing the transportation of commercial goods at Hairatan port under a long-standing agreement.
