Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan, recently met with the president and members of the Turkish Association of Independent Industrialists and Traders (MUSIAD).
During the meeting, they explored extensive trade and investment opportunities in Afghanistan. The Minister highlighted the country’s capacities in sectors such as mining, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, and transit. He emphasized that the Islamic Emirate is committed to supporting both domestic and foreign private sectors, mainly Turkish investors.
In response, the Turkish delegation announced plans to open a MUSIAD branch in Afghanistan and expressed interest in investing and trading within the country, underscoring Afghanistan’s significance as a key economic destination for the Turkish private sector.
