China’s special representative, met with Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, to discuss the expansion of bilateral ties.
According to a press release from the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions centered on ensuring mutual benefits through collaboration.
Minister Muttaqi expressed his appreciation for China’s ongoing support, mainly in light of recent developments in Afghanistan’s economic sector, which he described as a promising foundation for future partnerships.
Yu Xiaoyong reaffirmed China’s dedication to supporting Afghanistan, highlighting the importance of a good neighborly relationship as a cornerstone of their partnership.
