Six people have died in a car crash on the Herat-Turghandi highway.
The accident occurred when a truck crashed a small minivan on Sunday. The victims were taken to the hospital.
Some eyewitnesses on social media have attributed the accident to the driver’s carelessness.
Ebrahim Mohammadi, the Herat Ambulance Chief, confirmed the incident to Hasht-e Subh, saying that six passengers were killed.
The traffic directorate of Herat has not said anything so far. But speeding on the highways has been one of the main causes of the road accidents.
