The Ministry of Defense says Afghan forces are ready to defend the country against Pakistani incursions on the Durand Line. Rohallah Ahmadzai, a spokesperson to the ministry, said Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) will let no country to violate Afghanistan’s territorial integrity and strengthen its leverage in the country.
This comes as Abdul Satar Mirzakwal, governor of eastern Kunar province, says Pakistani forces have mobilized in areas close to Naray district of the province and papering for a fight against Afghan forces.
Afghan and Pakistan forces have recently exchanged fire along the Durand Line on several occasions.
