In global politics, maintaining trust is crucial for every nation. However, in recent years, the United States has adopted policies that have not only reduced its number of allies but have also severely damaged its global reputation. By breaking its commitments, exploiting other nations through political and military maneuvers, and sacrificing countries for its own interests, Washington has positioned itself as an unreliable power in the eyes of the world.

From the bloody wars and abrupt withdrawal from Afghanistan to its actions in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, the United States has repeatedly acted irresponsibly toward its allies and partners. It manipulates the emotions of nations for its own objectives, makes promises, but abandons them when needed the most. During the Palestine crisis, Washington disregarded human rights and democracy, continued its unconditional support for Israel, and paid no attention to the global outcry.

Ukraine, another victim of U.S. policies, initially hoped for strong Western support at the start of the war. However, as the conflict dragged on, it became evident that Washington was using the war for its own strategic gains rather than truly backing Kyiv. The U.S. leveraged Ukraine as a tool to pressure Russia, but when the economic and political costs of the prolonged war became apparent, it gradually reduced its support. This was not only a significant blow to Kyiv but also another major setback for America’s global credibility.

In Asia, Pakistan—long a U.S. ally—has shifted toward China and Russia. Similarly, Arab nations, which once relied on Washington’s backing, are now distancing themselves from U.S. foreign policy failures and strengthening ties with emerging economic powers like China and Russia. Meanwhile, Europe, which had previously turned a blind eye to Washington’s inconsistencies, is now actively seeking economic and security independence from the United States.

The economic sanctions imposed by the U.S., once a powerful tool in its foreign policy arsenal, are losing their effectiveness. The global economy no longer revolves around the U.S., as the rise of the BRICS economic bloc, the creation of alternatives to the dollar, and the economic advancements of China, Russia, and other nations are steadily diminishing America’s dominance.

Washington, which once considered itself the world’s supreme power, is now heading toward isolation. Many nations now recognize that the U.S. is an unreliable partner, frequently changing its stance based on its own interests and failing to uphold its commitments. If these policies persist, they will not only weaken America’s political influence but may also strip it of its central role in the global order.
