Afghanistan’s Attorney General’s Office said on Tuesday it had submitted the case of Tamim Shansab and his 19 partners to the court.
Shansab, the owner of a private security firm, resisted a police order for his eviction from a home in Kabul’s Shahr-i-Naw area with his guards firing at security forces before they were arrested. Officials said that Shansab had been illegally occupying the house for years.
Jamshed Rasooli, a spokesman for AGO, said that investigation over the case was completed and it was referred to court.
He said that Shansab and his crime partners were charged with murdering two people, wounding of five others, disobeying court order, disturbing public order, aggression on civil service personnel and illegal occupation of property.
