Reports from Indian media indicate a significant rise in imports from Afghanistan over the past two years, with an increase exceeding $642 million.

According to the Bakhtar News Agency, Afghanistan’s primary exports to India during this period have included a variety of agricultural products such as figs, potatoes, almonds, apricots, onions, pomegranates, and walnuts.

Indian officials are reportedly intensifying efforts to enhance trade relations with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. A focal point of these efforts is the Chabahar Port, which is seen as a strategic gateway for trade exchanges.

The Islamic Emirate is actively pursuing the strengthening of its international ties, particularly in trade with India and other nations.
